If you are new to CCAPs Membership or to Pennsylvania local government or just want more information about what we do, you have come to the right place! Our membership represents each of the 67 Pennsylvania County's' elected officials, but CCAP's outreach extends to legislators, the public, private business and others. We have many programs and services that offer specific solutions that are geared to Pennsylvania county government. CCAP is a vital partner in helping Pennsylvania counties deliver critical programs and services to residents.

What's Happening Now
Spring Conference - Registration is Now Open!
March 15 - 17, 2026 | Hilton Harrisburg | Dauphin County, PA
Known as “CCAP’s Legislative Conference,” the Spring Conference invites members to Harrisburg to participate in programming of educational and professional value.
While in the capital city, members are encouraged to contact their legislators directly and to go to The Hill to represent their county and CCAP.

Members
Snyder County, home of CCAP’s 2026 President, Joe Kantz, is located in Central Pennsylvania and hosts a rich history with some of the States most scenic landscapes.
The county seat, Middleburg, was laid out in 1800 and incorporated in 1864. It was formed in 1855 from Union County; the county was named for former governor Simon Snyder.
According to the 2020 census, the population was 39,736, and the county is part of the Selinsgrove Micropolitan Statistical Area. Its terrain includes the Appalachian Mountains, with notable ridges such as Shade Mountain and Jacks Mountain. The local economy centers on manufacturing, agriculture, and a strong German-influenced craft tradition.
