Today's workplace brings together employees from multiple generations, each with different experiences, communication preferences, perspectives, and approaches to work. While these differences can sometimes create misunderstandings, they also provide opportunities for stronger collaboration, innovation, and learning.
This interactive workshop explores practical strategies for working effectively across generations by focusing on communication, trust, shared expectations, and mutual respect rather than stereotypes. Participants will learn how to recognize the strengths different perspectives bring, adapt their communication, navigate workplace differences, and contribute to an inclusive culture where everyone can do their best work. Through discussion, reflection, and real-world scenarios, attendees will leave with practical tools for building stronger relationships and helping create a workplace where every generation can succeed.
This course fulfills the Personal Development required course for participants in the Academy for Excellence in County Government.
