As cyberthreats grow more varied and sophisticated—and as today’s technology environments become increasingly complex, determining how to adapt and strengthen your cybersecurity program can feel overwhelming. This workshop is designed to make that challenge more manageable by providing practical insight, real-world experience, and expert guidance tailored to public-sector organizations.

Participants will hear from a panel of Pennsylvania County IT professionals who will share the cybersecurity processes they have implemented, discuss real situations they have encountered, and explain how they responded to evolving threats. Their firsthand experiences will offer valuable lessons learned and practical takeaways for strengthening your own organization’s security posture.

The workshop will also feature Matt Meade, whose practice focuses on data security and privacy. He advises clients on data breaches, information and records management, and broader data security concerns and helps organizations identify business risks related to the use and storage of sensitive information and regularly guides clients through security incident investigations, response strategies, communications, and, when necessary, regulatory inquiries and litigation.

Additionally, Crowe LLP will share its approach to evaluating cybersecurity programs by identifying gaps against industry standards and regulatory requirements. Crowe helps organizations develop clear, actionable plans to strengthen controls, reduce risk, and move toward compliance with confidence.

Together, this workshop provides a balanced perspective, combining peer experiences, legal and regulatory insight, and practical cybersecurity strategy, to help organizations take informed, confident steps to better protect their systems, data, and constituents.
