Federal Opportunity Zones provide the opportunity to unlock private capital which is to be invested in designated urban or rural census tracks. For the first time in nearly 10 years the Governor has the opportunity to designate new zones. This presentation will explain why it is important to have a zone designation in your County, a proposed process to obtain a zone and how to leverage it for economic development success.
