This section will cover the process of investigation of a claim, acceptance versus denial and what factors to consider, and what to expect during the litigation process and settlement. Attendees will also learn about transitional light-duty, and why it is essential and how to make it successful.

Recent Developments in Workers’ Compensation
A look at some recent developments and case law and how they will impact Employers and future handling of Workers’ Compensation claims, including recent changes to the Heart and Lung Act (Act 60).
