Melanie Gordon has served as the Human Services and Criminal Justice Policy Director for CCAP since July 2023.
Prior to that, she spent 15 years working at the Centre County Correctional Facility, leaving as the Deputy Warden of Operations. She served on the board of the PA Prison Wardens Association for 8 years and was active with a variety of state, regional, and national corrections organizations.
Melanie qualified as a Certified Jail Manager with the American Jail Association and a Certified Corrections Executive with the American Correctional Association. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Shippensburg University.
Melanie leads the public policy team, bringing together 5 statewide human services affiliate associations, county human resources affiliate, and Opioid Trust administrative staff. She works closely with many state agencies related to delivery of human services in the Commonwealth. She is the CCAP lead for all criminal justice agencies and associations.
