On July 11, Gov. Wolf signed one of the final budget bills comprising a revenue package to complete the FY 2022-2023 budget
On July 11, Gov. Wolf signed into law HB 1421, comprising a revenue package to complete the FY 2022-2023 budget. The general appropriations bill (SB 1100) was signed into law on on July 8. The Governor did veto the Human Services Code bill (HB 1420). Upon being sent back, the Fical Code (HB 1421) and Human Services Code were combined and sent back to the Governor.  This brought the total budget amounts to approximately $44 billion in state spending.
