Code Freeze Starting August 2025

What does that mean for you?

We are working on the one of the last Kentico code/feature updates to ensure we can focus all development on the upcoming upgrade of Kentico (Kentico .NET 9+). The upgrade is to ensure we are keeping current with technology, with the added objective to look at all the requests, issues, and ideas and build those out into the upgraded solution.

This code freeze does exclude any refreshes or hot-fixes (security related) that may be needed or have value during this code freeze period.`

How long is the code freeze going to be in place?

The code freeze is expected to be no less than 6 months, but we are hope to be done with development no more than 9 months at most for when the upgrade will be available.

Kentico Roadmap - Impacts to Our Kentico 13 Platform

Kentico is shifting from its Kentico 13.x platform (the version we are on) to Xperience by Kentico. You may read more of their roadmap here: https://roadmap.kentico.com/tabs/5-released

We plan on starting the education process for the upcoming shift to Xperience by Kentico (beyond 2026). Migration should be supported so long as we are on the upgraded version of the .NET platform! While this is somewhat of a technical read, here is more information (link will go outside our website) on this shift. https://www.mcbeev.com/differences-between-kentico-13-vs-xperience-by-kentico
