As we remain in the middle of a global pandemic, the CCAP Board of Directors met last week and voted unanimously to present the CCAP 2020 Fall Conference as a virtual event, similar to the 2020 CCAP Annual Conference. While we had hoped we could have been in person just once this year, with current restrictions for indoor gatherings limited to less than 25 people and so much uncertainty about where things might stand in another two months, we know this was the best decision to make sure we could still safely deliver an excellent experience for our members.
The Virtual Fall Conference will be conducted using the Zoom platform, with a business meeting, closing general session, and a new educational series, tentatively scheduled as follows:
Monday, November 23
9 a.m. – noon Business Meeting
Priorities Setting presentations and voting; voting on Action Plan, budget,
2021 dues; other business TBD
Tuesday, November 24
9 – 11 a.m. General Session
Priorities announcement; other speakers and topics TBD
December 1, 3, 8, 10
9 a.m., 2 p.m. Education Series – Eight sessions total Two separate sessions per day, as indicated; topics and speakers TBD
Several conference related events, such as policy meetings and the CCAP Board meeting, will be scheduled prior to the Virtual Fall Conference, and committee members will be contacted as soon as that schedule is finalized.
The Conference will be offered free for all CCAP members, sponsors, associate members and vendors.
Registration information for the Virtual Fall Conference will be distributed via email by the end of September. |
