​2021 VIRTUAL CONFERENCE MATERIALS

The County Administration Conference welcomes county personnel interested in administration, human resources, finance and technology. Vendors are welcome to sponsor this event and attendance opportunities exist. Opportunities also exist for current Technology Vendor Partners and SCHRPP vendor members.
 
The 2021 CCAP Virtual County Administration Conference will be presented "live" via Zoom.
 

 

​CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

The Conference registration fee is discounted to $49 for all county members and provides you a link to access the Conference in real time on June 2 and 3 via Zoom, plus access to post-event video recordings of the Opening General Session and every breakout - 16 TOTAL SESSIONS!
 
Each attendee must register for the Conference using the online registration form below. Please provide your personal email address as this will allow you to receive Conference updates and be eligible for virtual prize drawings.
 
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation for your records. The week before the Conference, you will receive an email with instructions and credentials for access to the VCAC Portal, which will contain links to all Conference sessions, as well as session descriptions, available handouts, speaker contact informaiton, and other Conference updates. There is no need to pre-determine your individual breakout session selections, but if you want to plan ahead, once you receive access to the Portal in late May, you will have the option of adding sessions to your calendar.
  
 
  • Current Academy participants receive complimentary registration for this event as part of their enrollment in the program. A registration code will be sent to eligible participants.

 

  • Vendor attendance at this Conference is permitted for Conference sponsors only. Special opportunities are available for current Technology Vendor Partners and SCHRPP vendor members. *IMPORTANT: Registered Conference participants will be sent their access link to the Conference Portal the week before the Conference.
 
SPECIAL NOTE FOR CONNECTION VIA ZOOM: During the sessions, we will be using Zoom's Chat feature for Q&A. If you have questions, you must be connected to the Conference via the Zoom web app in order to use the Chat feature to direct questions to the attendee named "Questions,". Unfortunately, there is no Chat feature for anyone just listening in via phone.
 
The deadline to register with CCAP is 4 p.m. on May 21, 2021.
 
Cancellation Policy: All cancellation requests must be emailed to Lori Lawyer. There will be a $10 administrative fee per valid cancellation if received prior to 4 p.m., May 24, 2021. Cancellations received after May 24 cannot be refunded. Registrations received without payment will be billed if not cancelled by May 24. All refunds will be issued via check from CCAP.

Participants in CCAP's Academy for Excellence in County Government are eligible to receive up to six Academy elective credits for attending the Conference, or viewing session recordings post-Conference, pending submission of a
Verification of Attendance (PDF) form indicating each session attended. Forms must be submitted to Mandi Glantz to get transcript credit; form is required for both those who attend live and those who view the session recordings.

Sponsorship opportunities (PDF) are available to interested vendors. Vendor participation at this Conference is permitted only to Conference sponsors; all sponsorship levels include a minimum of one virtual Conference registration per firm.

Attendance at this Conference is through Conference sponsorship only and geared to vendors specializing in products or services to meet the needs of county administration, HR, personnel, budget, finance and information technology staff. Varying levels of sponsorship are available with complimentary registration(s) for the full Conference included with each level. Contracts (PDF) should be received by May 14 to ensure full benefits for the sponsoring vendor.

Regardless of where you are viewing the sessions, it is important for each individual to register using a unique email address. Your email address will allow you to receive Conference updates and be eligible for virtual prize drawings! All registered county officials and staff will be entered into a prize drawing at the end of the General Session on June 2, for a $100 Amazon gift card.

TRIVIA CONTEST

Registered county officials and staff will have the opportunity to answer two trivia questions: one will be posted in the slides before the start of the General Session, and the other at the conclusion of the General Session on June 2. Answer sheets will be provided via email and posted here before the Conference. The Trivia Answer Sheet must be submitted to Aubrey King via email by noon on Friday, June 4 to be entered to win. All submissions with the most amount of correct answers will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $200 Amazon gift card! The winner will be randomly selected and notified on June 7.
