  • County Impacts of FY 2020-2021 Budget

    On Nov. 23, the Governor signed SB 1350, containing the FY 2020-2021 commonwealth budget, into law. CCAP has completed a detailed narrative analyzing the impacts to county line items, and continues to update the spreadsheet analysis and budget media available on this page.

  • Governor Signs Budget and Revenue Bills Into Law

    On Nov. 24, Gov. Wolf signed into law several bills comprising a revenue package to complete the FY 2020-2021 budget, including the general appropriations bill (SB 1350) and amendments to the Fiscal Code. The FY 2020-2021 budget has been completed using a mix of one-time sources of revenue to fill the revenue shortfall caused in large part by the coronavirus pandemic. In total, the budget amounts to approximately $36.5 billion in state spending, which totals about 3.8% more than FY 2019-2020 spending level. However, it does not contain any across-the-board cuts.

  • Budget-related Bills Headed to Governor

    In addition to the budget appropriations bill (SB 1350), the House and Senate approved amendments to the Fiscal Code (HB 2536), which include provisions related to the implementation of the FY 2020-2021 state budget.
