2021 Forensic Conference
October 21, 2021

CCAP’s Comprehensive Behavioral Health Task Force (CBHTF) is pleased to announce this year’s Forensic Conference will focus on reentry. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about county efforts and to participate in a reentry simulation. Counties are encouraged to gather and identify teams to participate in this event.

REGISTRATION: Please register no later than Thursday, October 14. Pre-registration is required to confirm the proper capacity and to ensure attendees have reviewed CCAP’s Commitment to Well-Being” guidelines and have answered all pre-meeting COVID-19 screening questions prior to attendance. Walk-in registrations will not be permitted.

HOUSING: We have secured a room block at the Penn Stater for the evening of Wednesday, October 20. Our group rate is $121/night for a standard guest room. Please reference group code FSCM21A when making your reservations. You can call the Penn Stater direct at 800-233-7505 or visit their website to make your reservations. Reservations must be made no later than Friday, September 24 to get the reduced group rate for the conference.

COST: The cost to attend the conference is $150/person. Overnight accommodations will be the responsibility of the attendee. In an effort to minimize lines and staff contact during registration, onsite payment will not be accepted.

REENTRY SIMULATION: Conference attendees will have an opportunity to participate in one of two simulations. Through these simulations, attendees will learn how having a criminal record affects individuals and families, identify through critical reflection the influence of personal biases and values of working with diverse individuals and constituents, and discuss the importance of engaging in practices that advance social and economic justice.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT: We are working on securing CEU’s for the conference. We will have more information in the coming weeks regarding CEUs.
