Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant for Cities and Counties – direct funding to counties with populations of at least 200,000, or 10 most populous counties in the state. Competitive grants for other counties available through State Energy Program below.

Applications for eligible counties (10 most populous receivng direct funding) must be submitted no later than June 25, 2009 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

PennVEST has announced that it anticipates awarding $70 million in recovery funds in July. Applications for this funding are due on May 18. An informational meeting about this opportunity will be held on April 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the second floor auditorium, Rachel Carson State Office Building, Harrisburg. Questions?
