​The CCAP Annual Conference and Trade Show is the Association's premiere event, hosting more than 500 guests over the duration. Members are encouraged to bring their families to this summer Conference. Sponsorships and exhibit booths are available to vendors.

Conference Facilities


  • County Member/Non-Exhibiting Individual Vendor and State Agency Online Registration
    County member registration applies to county officials and staff; Non-exhibiting individual vendor and state agency registration applies to vendors or state agency personnel attending the Conference, but not purchasing booth space.

    PROMO: Register four county members online and CCAP reimburse the county for the fourth person's registration fee after the Conference. Get four registrations for the price of three!


  • Exhibiting Vendor and State Agency Online Registration
    For purchase of booth space - each booth purchase includes two exhibitor personnel registrations.

    Associate Member Exhibitor Registration
    Vendors who have joined CCAP for an annual fee.

    Non-Associate Member Exhibitor Registration
    Other vendors who are not associate members.

    State Agency Exhibitor Registration
    Agencies who are under the jurisdiction of the Governor of the Commonwealth.

    Booths are available on a first-come, first-paid basis. An electronic booth selection form will be sent to you upon completion of this online registration and submission of payment for booth space. Booth space must be reserved by July 7, 2017 for your firm to be included in the directory of exhibitors distributed on-site.


Advance payment of all fees is required prior to the Conference. No booth assignments will be made and no badges or meal tickets will be issued until payment in full is received. Registrations are transferable to another individual prior to the Conference start date; registered no-shows will be billed.

Cancellations must be submitted via email to Jeannette Hunter and must be received by 4 p.m. on July 21, 2017 to qualify for a refund. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from each refund requested. Cancellations received after the July 21 deadline are not refundable. Registrations are transferable to another individual.

Cancellation of Booth Space: Cancellations must be submitted via email to Mandi Glantz and must be received by 4 p.m. on July 7, 2017. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted for each refund requested. Cancellations received after July 7 will be subject to an administrative fee of 20 percent of the booth space purchase price.


Erie's Bayfront Convention Center is the site of all CCAP Conference sessions and is directly connected to both the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel (headquarters hotel) and the Courtyard Erie Bayfront (overflow property).
*The Sheraton Erie Bayfront is currently sold out. Rooms are still available at the Courtyard by Marriott. Keep checking here for any additional updates.
The deadline to register with either property is 5 p.m. on July 7, 2017 or when the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. Reservations made after July 7 are on a space available basis and Conference rates are not guaranteed. Check in time is 3 p.m. and check out time is noon. Late checkouts cannot be guaranteed for Wednesday. 
  • Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel (Headquarters Hotel) - Sold Out*
    The Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel is connected to the Bayfront Convention Center by a skywalk. Conference rates are $189 per room, per night single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy. The rate does not include the six percent sales tax and seven percent local occupancy tax. Garage parking is $1 per hour or $12 per day with in and out privileges.


  • Courtyard Erie Bayfront Hotel (Overflow Property)
    The brand new Courtyard Erie Bayfront is attached to the Bayfront Convention Center by a walkway. Conference rates are $179 per room, per night single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy. The rate does not include the six percent sales tax and seven percent local occupancy tax. Garage parking is $1 per hour or $12 per day with in and out privileges.


Direct Bill Information for Counties: Both Conference hotels offer counties the convenience of direct billing the county's hotel charges. Each hotel requires a letter on county letterhead stating that your county would like to establsih direct billing, what charges the county will pay for, a list of county staff covered by the direct bill, their room reservation confirmation numbers and the dates of their stay. Include the correct billing address and and the county contact responsible for approving the final bill. Both properties use the same direct bill application. Road and Bridge Safety Improvement Award Program
Each year CCAP, the Pennsylvania Highway Information Association (PHIA) and PennDOT recognize the best road safety and bridge improvement projects undertaken by municipalities across the state. Awards are presented to winners during the CCAP Annual Conference on August 9 at the Bayfront Convention Center, Erie County.

CCAP Gift Room (PDF)

All registered CCAP county members, guests and children have the opportunity to participate in prize drawings during the Conference. The drawing prizes are items donated by counties attending the Conference. See the gift room flyer (PDF) for details on participation and providing a county gift.


Evening Entertainment for All Conference Attendees, Monday August 7

A Conference-wide event at the Anchor Plaza at the Courtyard Erie Bayfront Hotel is being held compliments of C.S. McKee. L.P. for all registered Conference attendees. The evening will feature a band, dancing and delicious food. Dress is summer casual. Please RSVP directly to Mark Gensheimer at to confirm participation.


Fun Run, Tuesday August 8

Our annual noncompetitive run/walk along the Erie waterfront and marina will be departing Tuesday morning, August 8 at 6:30 a.m. from the Sheraton's main lobby. Sign up at the CCAP registration desk on-site at the Conference to participate.


Erie Maritime Adventure, Tuesday August 8, noon to 4:30 p.m.

The afternoon will start with a private luncheon cruise around Lake Erie aboard the famous Victorian Princess Riverboat, a paddle wheel boat, with a presentation by a local historian who will share the interesting history of Erie. The Victorian Princess is docked on the pier within a short walk of the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel. After the 90-minute cruise, participants will be shuttled down the street to the Erie Maritime Museum for a guided tour of the museum with plenty of time to explore on your own. The tour cost is $35 per person and includes transportation, the private luncheon cruise, admission to the museum and coupons for the museum store. Space is limited. Please register on your Conference registration submission. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!


Presque Isle Lighthouse and Park/Tom Ridge Environmental Center, Tuesday August 8, noon to 5 p.m.

The afternoon will start at a Presque Isle State Park with a lunch and short presentation on the park's programs and plans for the future. Attendees will then tour the Presque Isle Lighthouse and walk the grounds. The last stop will be the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. The tour cost is $30 per person and includes transportation, admission to the lighthouse and the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, and lunch. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Buses will leave from and return to the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel. Please register on your Conference registration submission.


Annual Golf Tournament, Tuesday, August 8, noon

The annual golf tournament will be held Tuesday, August 8 at Whispering Woods Golf Club compliments of Mazzitti & Sullivan EAP Services, Inc., Cornerstone Advisors Asset Management, LLC and Scott + Scott Attorneys at Law, LLP. A putting contest will be held compliments of CGL Companies. There is no cost for CCAP registered county members and guests. Vendors pay an additional fee.
