The Governor’s Center for Local Government Services and CCAP will provide a free Webinar for county officials on Act 32 - EIT collection. Act 32, passed by the legislature and signed by the Governor on July 2, 2008, amends and completely restates the Local Tax Enabling Act (LTEA). This session, intended for county commissioners, council members, chief clerks and county administrators, will provide an explanation of what this act means to county governments and the role the county will play with their respective school districts and municipalities.
There are three easy ways to participate. You can attend the host site (WITF Studio, Harrisburg), host a group downlink for your county, or sign up for an individual downlink. In order to be a host for this webinar, you must have a high speed Internet connection, a computer and method of projection and sound, and a phone or e-mail account to use when submitting questions. Audience questions are encouraged. If you cannot attend the host site or set up your own host downlink, you may contact Jenn Carey at CCAP, jcarey@pacounties.org, to request an individual downlink. The connection information will be sent to you prior to the Webinar.
