CCAP testified today before the House Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Revenue. CCAP outlined the impact oil and gas has on local governments and the need for local revenue to remedy those impacts. The testimony depicts part of the CCAP Priority of Tax Fairness that speaks to the restoration of the assessability of oil and gas, taken away by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2002, in Independent Oil and Gas et al v. Fayette County Board of Assessment Appeals.
