Human Services Block Grant Pilot Program application available

DPW has made available the application for those counties interested in participating in the Human Services Block Grant Pilot Program established under Act 80 of 2012. Interested counties must answer all of the questions that are outlined in the application, which must be submitted online at the link below. Applications must be completed and submitted to DPW by Friday, August 17, in order to be considered for the pilot program. DPW will review all applications and notify each county that applied if they are selected. Please direct all application questions to Meaghan Sprout, (717) 214-2283, or measprout@pa.gov. In addition to the application, counties must submit a letter signed by at least two commissioners and/or the county executive indicating their intent to pursue the block grant. These letters should be posted to the Department of Public Welfare, Bureau of Financial Operations, 625 Forster St, Health & Welfare, Room 402, Harrisburg, PA 17120.
