The County of Berks Human Resources Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Human Resources Manager with a specialization in employee and labor relations. This position is responsible for coordinating and directing employee and labor relations programs and functions. This individual will act as liaison between department managers and union representatives for 4 bargaining units, and will prepare for and represent the County in collective bargaining, grievances, and labor management meetings. This position requires a BS Degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, or closely related field with a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including prior supervisory experience. PHR Certification preferred. The salary range for this position is $40,300 to $50,000 w/excellent benefits package incl. retirement plans and tuition reimbursement.
