From Interstate 81:
Exit South Front Street. The building is about 3 miles from that exit to the CCAP offices and downtown Harrisburg. As you are traveling on Front Street the river will be on your right.
Landmarks to pay attention to: After the intersection of Forster Street and Front Street, there is a 4 lane bridge that goes to Camp Hill. Immediately after it on the right is a Tudor mansion sitting on the riverbank.
At this point be sure to get into the left hand lane. At the corner of Walnut Street and Front Street is a two story white stone Public Library on the left and the Walnut Street steel walking bridge to City Island on your right. The CCAP Central Office sits in the block between Walnut Street and Market Street on Front Street between the Art Association (they have a flag depicting their name out front) and a brand new contemporary glass and brick 4 story office building that sits across from the Dauphin County Courthouse, which is located at the corner of Market Street and Front Street.
There is no parking at the CCAP offices. However, there is a parking garage behind the Dauphin County Courthouse, and one behind the Hilton Hotel located at the corner of Market Street and Second Street.
To park at the Dauphin County Courthouse parking garage, go one more block along Front Street to Chestnut Street. Turn Left. At the next traffic light - Second Street - turn left. Immediately after the red brick Presbyterian Church turn left into an alley (this is right before the Mellon Bank). Go one block and the parking garage is on your left.
To park behind the Hilton, go one more block along Front Street to Chestnut Street. Turn left. Get in right hand lane. At next light turn right. Hilton will be on your left as you turn right. Immediately past the Hilton, make a left hand turn into an alley. Follow the signs to the parking garage.
Coming From the Turnpike:
Exit at 18 - Harrisburg West. Take Interstate 83 North to Harrisburg. Cross over the Susquehanna. Get off I-83 at Second Street Exit which will be the first exit once you cross the bridge. Immediately after the 2nd light turn left past the red brick Presbyterian Church. Go down that alley about one block and turn into the Dauphin County Parking Garage. The parking garage is situated along Front Street. When you exit it continue down past the Courthouse and cross Market Street, keeping the river on your left the entire time. The CCAP Central Office is located in the first red brick townhouse you come to after the new contemporary building.
To park behind the Hilton keep in the right hand lane coming off the interstate, and at the second light, the corner of Market and Second Streets, turn right. Immediately past the Hilton Hotel, turn left into a small alley that runs behind the Hilton. Follow the signs to the parking garage.
From 22/322:
Take 22/322 to Harrisburg. Exit onto Interstate 81 South. At the very next exit get off for Front Street and follow directions to South Front Street. Follow directions for those coming in on Interstate 81.
From HIA:
Take 283 towards Harrisburg. Stay in left lane and get on 83S. Take the 2nd Street exit (exit 23) (Harrisburg/Capitol). Proceed through 3 lights.
Park in Market Street (on your left) or Walnut Street (right on Market, left after Hilton) garage.
