  • Pennsylvania Counties Risk Pool (PCoRP)
    PCoRP provides property, liability, automobile and other related insurance coverages, loss control, claims services and training to Pennsylvania counties and county related entities.

  • Pennsylvania Counties Workers' Compensation Trust (PComp)
    PComp provides workers' compensation coverage for employees of counties and county related entities which includes loss control, claims services and training.
  • CCAP Unemployment Compensation Trust (UC Trust)
    UC Trust provides unemployment compensation insurance for county employees.

    A Reciprocal Risk Retention Group, which provides Professional Liability and General Liability Insurance coverage for county owned and affiliated nursing homes.

  • PACAH Bonds
    A group bond program for patient trust fund bonds for county owned and affiliated nursing homes.

  • CCAP Health Alliance
    The CCAP Health Alliance and the Delaware Valley Health Trust (DVHT) have partnered to offer an alternative to the commercial health insurance market which provides Pennsylvania counties with upfront savings, enhanced benefits and long term cost stability. 

NACo Sponsored Programs

  • NACo Live Healthy Prescription, Health & Dental Discount Program 
    The National Association of Counties provides relief to uninsured and underinsured Americans who face high prescription, health and dental costs. The program is free to NACo member counties. The program, which is administered by CVS Caremark, includes discounts on prescriptions, vision care, LASIK and PRK vision procedures, hearing aids and screenings, prepaid lab work, prepaid diagnostic imaging, diabetic supplies and dental care. 

    Counties may choose an optional marketing reimbursement fee and counties may also feature their county logo or seal on the front of the card.
  • NACo 457 Deferred Compensation
    The National Association of Counties (NACo), in partnership with CCAP and Nationwide Retirement Solutions (NRS), helps ensure the financial security of county employees with a competitive Deferred Compensation Program. The NRS Deferred Compensation Program allows county employees many options for tax deferred supplemental retirement savings.

  • U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance
    CCAP is proud to sponsor the U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance. U.S. Communities is the leading national government purchasing cooperative that reduces the costs of goods and services by aggregating the purchasing power of public agencies nationwide. U.S. Communities provides participants with access to a broad line of competitively solicited contracts with national suppliers that have committed to providing their lowest overall public agency pricing.    

Other Programs 

    A Reciprocal Risk Retention Group, which offers stop loss insurance for those counties implementing the behavioral managed healthcare program, HealthChoices.
    Prison Inmate Medical Cost Containment program, a consulting service to help counties save money on the provision of medical services (including a group drug purchasing program) for county prisons.
    Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust, a money market investment fund for counties, schools and municipalities. Also provides other investment and borrowing options.
  • Tax Collectors
    Surety bond program for counties to purchase bonds (as required by law) for tax collectors.
  • Volunteers Accident Insurance
    Coverage for county volunteers injured while volunteering for the county or county related entity. Also can cover work release inmates, alternatively sentenced inmates, nursing home volunteers and juvenile tobacco enforcement participants.
