CCAP Newly Elected Officials Workshop and Fall Conference

Online registration is now closed. Please register on-site at the CCAP Registration Desk located in the Garden Terrace Lounge, First Floor, of The Hotel Hershey. Registration will be open:

  • Saturday, November 21 from 3 to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 22 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Monday, November 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 24 from 8 to 11 a.m.

Registration options include:

  • Newly Elected Officials Workshop and Fall Conference, 3 p.m. Saturday, November 21 through 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 24
  • Newly Elected Officials Workshop Only, 3 p.m. Saturday, November 21 through 6:30 p.m. Sunday, November 22
  • Fall Conference Only, 1 p.m. Sunday, November 22 through 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 24
  • Vendors, 5:30 p.m. Sunday, November 22 through 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 24

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be submitted via email to Jeannette Hunter and must be received by 4 p.m. on November 13, 2015. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. A $50 service charge will be deducted from each refund requested. Cancellations received after the November 13, 2015 deadline are not refundable; however, if last minute schedule changes prevent you from attending the event, another may attend in your place. Registered no-shows will be billed. Please understand that we must adhere to these deadlines to ensure accurate registration and hotel planning.


The deadline to register with The Hotel Hershey was October 19, 2015. If you need to make a room reservation, please call The Hotel Hershey reservation line at (800) 437-7439 and ask the reservationist to put your name on the CCAP Fall Conference Wait List. You cannot do this online - you must call The Hotel Hershey Reservation line for wait list assistance. If your requested dates become available, they will make your reservation, and will contact you with the details and to secure payment information.

Direct Bill Information for Counties: Payment with a credit card is preferred for hotel reservations, but if your counties' attendees require a direct bill process, you can "hold" your room by providing a credit card number. Please include a note in the "Special Requests or Needs Box" within the "Special Request For This Room" box identifying the county staff authorized under the direct bill account and the specific charges that are permitted on this account (i.e. room, tax, meals, etc.). Please send a letter confirming the staff permissions on your county's letterhead directly to Group Reservations, The Hotel Hershey, 100 Hotel Road, Hershey, PA 17033. When your letter arrives at The Hotel Hershey, the reservations department will match it to your reservation file.


In prior years, many successful candidates were reimbursed for their Conference expenses by their respective counties once they took office in January. Since the Newly Elected Officials Workshop and Fall Conference 's focus is educational, we hope this is repeated by those counties involved. You will need to check with your county's policy on reimbursement, as county policies on Conference attendance and payment vary.

There is no exhibit space at the Fall Conference, but vendors are invited and encouraged to register to gain access to educational sessions, meals and breaks and other Conference events. Vendor attendance is from 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 22 through 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24.
