2016 Conference Materials

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

  • County Member/Non-Exhibiting Individual Vendor Online Registration
    County member registration applies to county officials and staff.
    Non-exhibiting individual vendor registration applies to vendors attending the Conference, but not purchasing booth space.

    PROMO: Register four county members online and CCAP will reimburse the county for the fourth person after the Conference. Get four registrations for the price of three!

    DISCOUNT: There is a discounted fee for county member Conference registrations received before June 30.
  • Exhibiting Vendor Online Regsitration
    For purchase of booth space - each booth purchase includes two exhibitor personnel registrations. Booths are available on a first-come, first-paid basis. An electronic booth selection form will be sent to you upon completion of this online registration and submission of payment for booth space. Booth space must be reserved by July 8, 2016 for your firm to be included in the directory of exhibitors distributed on-site.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES 

Advance payment of all fees is required prior to the Conference. No booth assignments will be made and no badges or meal tickets will be issued until payment in full is received. Registrations are transferable to another individual prior to the Conference start date; registered no-shows will be billed.

Cancellations must be submitted via email to Jeannette Hunter and must be received by 4 p.m. on July 22, 2016 to qualify for a refund. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from each refund requested. Cancellations received after the July 22 deadline are not refundable. Registrations are transferable to another individual.

Cancellation of Booth Space: Cancellations must be submitted via email to Mandi Glantz and must be received by 4 p.m. on July 8, 2016. no telephone cancellations will be accepted. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted for each refund requested. Cancellations received after July 8 will be subject to an administrative fee of 20 percent of the booth space purchase price.

Additional information is available for registered exhibitors including the booth selection process and drayage services such as electricity, shipping, etc.

Please reserve your room using the online link or call the Split Rock Resort Reservations Desk at (800) 255-7625 x 829. Our Conference room block code is COMMISSIONERS2016; don't forget to use it for both online and telephone reservations.

NOTE: All general and breakout sessions plus the trade show will be in the Galleria/Town Center. The Split Rock Resort offers a variety of room types for our conference attendees. If the room type you would like is not available at the time you are making reservations, please call the Split Rock Reservations Desk at (570) 215-6113 for assistance.

 

The deadline to register with Split Rock Resort and receive the discounted room rate as part of the Conference room block is July 16, 2016. Reservations made after July 16 are on a space available basis and Conference rates are not guaranteed. Check in time is 4 p.m. and check out time is 11 a.m. Late checkouts cannot be guaranteed for Wednesday. 

 

Direct Bill Information for Counties: Payment with a credit card is preferred for hotel reservations, but if your county's attendees require a direct bill process, first make the room reservations by calling the reservation department at (800) 255-7625 x 829, or securing the overnight room online with a credit card. After the room reservation is made, please send the Split Rock direct bill application (PDF) along with a letter on county letterhead stating that your county would like to establish direct billing, what charges the county will pay for, a list of county staff covered by the direct bill, the room reservation confirmation numbers and the dates of stay. Include the correct billing address and the county contact responsible for final approval of the bill. The direct bill application and letter should be addressed to Marisa Pietrzak, Split Rock Resort at 100 Moseywood Road, Lake Harmony, PA 18624 or . Each year CCAP, the Pennsylvania Highway Information Association (PHIA) and PennDOT recognize the best road safety and bridge improvement projects undertaken by municipalities across the state. Awards are presented during the CCAP Annual Conference.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

  • CCAP Gift Room (PDF) - All registered CCAP county members, guests and children have the opportunity to participate in prize drawings during the Conference. The drawing prizes are items donated by counties attending the Conference. See the gift room flyer for details on participation and providing a county gift.
  • Evening Entertainment, Monday August 8 - A Conference-wide event at the Penn's Peak is being held compliments of C.S. McKee. L.P. for all registered Conference attendees. The evening will include a band, dancing and delicious food. Transportation will be provided. Dress is summer casual.

  • Fun Run, Tuesday August 9 - Our annual noncompetitive run/walk will be departing Tuesday morning, August 9 at 6:30 a.m. from Split Rock's main lobby. Sign up at the CCAP registration desk on-site at the Conference to participate.
  • Pocono Raceway Go Green Program Tour, Tuesday August 9, noon to 4:30 p.m. - This tour of the Pocono Raceway and the Pocono Go Green Program will include a look at a solar farm and the recycling efforts at the racetrack along with the NASCAR Clean Air Tree Planting Program. You can register for the tour when completing your online Conference registration. Your $30 tour fee includes transportation, the tour and a boxed lunch. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. If you have already registered for the Conference and would like to add the tour, please contact Jeannette Hunter at (717) 736-4771 or .
  • Historic Jim Thorpe Tour, Tuesday August 9, noon to 4:30 p.m. - This tour features the historical and quaint town of Jim Thorpe including the Jim Thorpe Memorial, lunch at the Broadway Grille & Pub, a walking tour of the Asa Packer Mansion, Chunk Opera House, Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Cetner, Stone Row and the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. Your $30 tour fee includes transportation, the tour and lunch. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. If you have already registered for the Conference and would like to add the tour, please contact Jeannette Hunter at (717) 736-4771 or .
  • Annual Golf Tournament, Tuesday, August 9, noon - The annual golf tournament will be held Tuesday, August 9 at Jack Frost National Golf Club compliments of Mazzitti & Sullivan EAP Services, Inc., Cornerstone Advisors Asset Management, Inc. and Scott + Scott Attorneys at Law, LLP. A putting contest will be held compliments of CGL Companies. There is no cost for CCAP registered county members and guests. Vendors pay an additional fee.

  • Skeet and Trap Shoot Tournament (PDF), Tuesday, August 9, noon - The annual sporting clay tournament has been adapted to a skeet and trap shoot tournament for 2016 and will be held Tuesday at The Inn at Pocono Manor compliments of StoneRidge Investment Partners, LLC, Federated Investors, Maher Duessel, CPAs and Peirce Park Group. There is no cost for CCAP registered county members and guests. Vendors pay an additional fee.
